General Tab

FlexNet Manager Suite 2019 R1 (On-Premises Edition)
This tab enables you to view the general properties of this remote device. Although the tab displays the names of properties for an inventory device, this device is remote, so that by definition no inventory has been collected from it. Therefore the majority of these properties cannot show any values. The following table presents a list of fields on this page in an alphabetical order.
Remember: Remote device properties are read only.

Displays None for a remote device.

Chassis number

Displays None for a remote device.

Compliance status

Displays New for a remote device.

Connection name

Displays None for a remote device.

Device role

Displays Production for a remote device.

Domain name

Displays the domain associated with the user detected using the virtualized application remotely. The user is identified as the Calculated user on the Ownership tab of these properties, and can also be inferred from the device Name.

Firmware serial number

Displays None for a remote device.

Host ID

Displays None for a remote device.

Inventory device type

Displays the Remote Device type.

IP address

Displays None for a remote device.

Last inventory date

Specifies the date when the last inventory information covering the majority of hardware properties was collected for this device. It is the date of the last collection by the Last inventory source.

Last inventory source

Identifies the agent responsible for the inventory that triggered creation of this device record. Displays either XenApp or AppV for remote devices.

Linked asset

Displays None for a remote device.

MAC address

Displays None for a remote device.

Machine ID

Displays None for a remote device.

Manufacturer

Displays None for a remote device.

Model

Initially blank for a remote device, but you may overwrite this with a model name if this is known.

Name

This remote device record was fabricated when a user was found to have accessed a virtualized application from a device not included in your corporate inventory devices (such as a home computer or mobile device). The remote device name is fabricated from the user name with the suffix (Remote) appended. For example, the user rwest using a virtualized application produces a remote device name of rwest (Remote).

Serial number

Displays None for a remote device.

Status

Displays Active for a remote device.
