Creating a New Directory Service Connection
Workflow Manager 2013 / AdminStudio Enterprise Server 2013
Directory services connections are used to import accounts into Workflow Manager, so as to authenticate Active Directory or eDirectory account-holders logging into Workflow Manager.
You can choose to have a directory service listed in the Domain list on the Workflow Manager login page. This enables people with accounts in the directory service to login to Workflow Manager using their enterprise network credentials
To add a Directory Service connection:

In the Environment Settings group of the navigation bar, click Directory Services. The Directory Services page opens. |

Click Manage Directory Services Connections. The Directory Services List page opens. |

3.

Click Add. The Add Directory Service Connection page opens. |
|
5.
|
Click the Test Connection button to ensure the settings you entered can be used to successfully connect to this directory service. |

6.

Once your connection is successful, do one of the following: |

Click Update to save your new connection and return to the Directory Services List page |
|
•
|
Click Update and Import (User/Group) to save your new connection and open the Directory Services Account/Group Add page, where you can immediately import an account for your connection. See Importing Directory Services Accounts and Groups for more information. |
