Workflow Manager 6.0
Workflow families are used to group workflow requests into categories, allowing you to sort them easily. You can create new workflow families while you are completing or submitting workflow requests.
The Create Workflow Family dialog box opens when you click Create New on the Submit Workflow Request page or (for administrators) on the Properties tab of the Workflow Progress page.
Enter a name for the new workflow family and click Add. The Create Workflow Family dialog closes and your new family is added to the Workflow Family combo box.
For a description of the purpose of application families, see Workflow Families.
Note: If you are a workflow consumer and the company associated with this project was created with the Is a Workflow Family Owner? option selected, the Create New button will not appear. It will be available only when a workflow administrator is submitting a workflow request against the project. See Creating a New Company for more information about this option.
Note: There is one other way to add workflow families. If you are a workflow administrator, and you create a new company, you will be able to open the Create Workflow Family dialog by clicking the Add Family link on its Company/Business Unit Details page. See Company/Business Unit Details Page for more information.
