Setting Integration Properties

Important:The default settings for the Flexera One app’s Integration properties are suitable for most organizations. In most cases, you can keep the default settings.

If necessary, Integration properties can be changed within the Flexera One ServiceNow app.

Integration Properties

Property

Description

Prevent IRE class switch on Update

Checked: Prevents changes to the class (such as Windows Server or Linux Server) of an existing record when it is being updated.

Unchecked: Allows changes to the class of an existing record when the current record’s class is different than the updated information.

Default: Unchecked.

Enable Flexera Business Service Mapping

Checked: Allows insert of application service and CI relationship data into ServiceNow.

Unchecked: Prevents insert of application service and CI relationship data into ServiceNow.

Default: Checked.

Enable Logging

Checked: Flexera Logging is enabled and accessible in the ServiceNow Log table.

Unchecked: Flexera Logging is disabled. No Flexera related log is generated.

Default: Checked.

Enable Test Load

Checked: It allow to insert limited (30,000 records by default) data into Flexera Native Tables in ServiceNow.

Unchecked: Not allow to insert limited (30,000 records by default) data into Flexera Native Tables in ServiceNow.

Default: Unchecked.

Test Load Record Count

Provide a numeric value to set a Test Load record count greater than 30,000.

Default: 30,000.

Changing Integration Property Settings

Note:The default Integration property settings are appropriate for most organizations.

Follow the instructions below if your implementation requires you to alter the Integration property settings.

To change an Integration property setting

1. Go to Filter navigator and search for Flexera One.
2. Navigate to Flexera One > Integration Properties.
3. Click Integration Properties, and make your property setting changes.
4. Click Save.

About Flexera Business Service Mapping

For Flexera One customers who have IT Visibility and Cloud Migration and Modernization capabilities, checking Enable Flexera Business Service Mapping in Import Properties allows the Flexera One integration to pull in Business Service Mapping datasets.

There are two tables for storing Business Service Mapping data:

1. Application Service (cmdb_ci_service_auto) stores application service records from Cloud Migration and Monetization.
2. CI Relationships (cmdb_rel_ci) stores and creates relationships between services and other associated assets that use the services.
