Like App Portal, App Broker for BMC is a universal enterprise app store for desktop, mobile, and cloud applications that enables IT to maintain license compliance while providing automated software delivery. But with App Broker for BMC, instead of using the App Portal end user interface, employees request software directly in the MyIT self-service portal. In other words, you manage your application catalog using App Portal, but users request software catalog items using the MyIT interface.
Using App Broker for BMC enables you to provide your employees with a single service portal for all request types: software, hardware, and other IT services, while also enabling you to optimize software license use and enable automated software delivery through System Center Configuration Manager, Symantec Altiris, VMware AirWatch, and/or JAMF Casper.
