App Portal 2013 R2
You need to connect App Portal to a deployment technology and enter configuration settings on the Settings > Deployment tab under Site Management.
• | Common—To select the deployment technology that App Portal should use to perform specific tasks, you need to make selections on the Deployment > Common subtab. See Entering Common Deployment Technology Settings. |
• | SCCM 2012—To connect App Portal to System Center 2012 Configuration Manager, you need to enter server connection settings on the Deployment > SCCM 2012 subtab. See Entering SCCM 2012 Deployment Technology Settings. |
• | SCCM 2007—To connect App Portal to System Center 2007 Configuration Manager, you need to enter server connection settings on the Deployment > SCCM 2007 subtab. See Entering SCCM 2007 Deployment Technology Settings. |
• | Altiris—To connect App Portal to Altiris Client Management Suite, you need to enter server connection settings on the Deployment > Altiris subtab. See Entering Altiris Client Management Suite Settings. |
Important: Starting with App Portal 2013, your deployment technology is no longer specified during App Portal installation. Instead, you specify your deployment technology connection settings on the Deployment tab of the Settings view.
