The General tab of the Inventory Item view includes two subtabs:

• | Notes Subtab |
In addition to the fields described in Adding an Inventory Item, additional Inventory Cost and Inventory Count configuration items appear on the General > General tab when you click Save after entering the initial inventory item settings.
You can optionally use this area to manually set the cost and license count for an inventory item, or leave in place the default settings that will automatically use the cost and license count from purchasing information.
You can use the General > Notes tab to quickly enter associated information about the inventory item, license, or purchase.
