Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

Flexera One uses bill data to provide an accurate view of your costs across accounts and services. This data is consumed by the Flexera One platform and made available for pre-built and ad-hoc analyses. In order to gather the cost information, certain configuration steps must be performed with specific data and credentials being shared with Flexera One.

Flexera One integrates with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) billing by querying OCI cost reports and downloading and processing them. For more information on cost reports, see the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure documentation topic, Cost Reports.

To gather cost information from OCI, certain configuration steps must be performed with specific data and credentials being shared with Flexera One. This is currently a manual process assisted by Flexera, with an automated onboarding flow to follow in the future.

Note:Consider the following:

Oracle has deprecated usage reports. This process uses cost reports only.
Amortization is not currently supported.

Complete the following steps to enable OCI cost visibility in Flexera One.

1. Create the Oracle IAM policy to allow access to the Oracle cost reports stored in Object Storage. For more information, see Creating the Oracle IAM Policy.
2. Set up an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure bill connect in Flexera One. For more information, see Setting Up Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Bill Connect.
3. Create an Oracle credential in Flexera One. For more information, see Creating an Oracle Credential in Flexera One.
4. Gather the Oracle metadata required for bill ingestion. For more information, see Gathering Oracle Metadata.

Automate bill ingestion using the Flexera One Automation capability. For more information, see Automating Bill Ingestion.
