Unmanaged Applications Page

This page lists the applications found installed across your enterprise (as shown by linked evidence found in inventory), but not yet processed.

You may find it helpful to use this page as a “control center” or to-do list to help focus your work on compliance management. Initially, this list may contain a very large set of applications. However, your current task may be to prepare for (say) a Microsoft audit. You can manage this list to show only the applications on which you want to focus now, deferring the remainder until later. For details, see Reducing Unmanaged Applications.

On this page, you can perform the following actions.

Action	Description
Create a new application record for something discovered in your enterprise	See Adding an Application.
Create a license for any application selected from the list	See Creating a License
Change the management status of any selected application(s)	See Changing the Status of an Application.
Navigate to the properties of an application, either by clicking its name in the listing, or by selecting it and clicking Open	See Application Properties.
Delete a Local application record	See Deleting an Application Record.
Resolve cases where the evidence for multiple applications overlaps	See Resolving the Application’s Overlapping Evidence Alerts.

Note:Most lists in IT Asset Management only show a selection of the properties in the underlying database. Some columns are displayed by default and others can be displayed using the column chooser control, including any custom properties that you have added. For information on using the column chooser, see Managing Columns in a Table.
