Note:Most lists in IT Asset Management only show a selection of the properties in the underlying database. Some columns are displayed by default and others can be displayed using the column chooser control, including any custom properties that you have added. For information on using the column chooser, see Managing Columns in a Table.
Note:Any custom properties that you have added for this object are also available through the column chooser. Like other properties, you can also use these properties for filtering and grouping records on this page.

The type of software, especially as it relates to licensing (freeware, commercial, component, and so on). Visible on the General tab of the application properties. It is editable only for applications with a Source value of Local. |

Edition |
The edition of an application, as specified by the publisher of this application. Note:Many applications do not specify an edition. Visible on the General tab of the application properties. It is editable only for applications with a Source value of Local. |

End of extended support |
The date when the publisher ceases the extended period to support this version and edition of the product in any way. For locally-created applications, editable in the General tab of the application properties. For application records downloaded in the Application Recognition Library, any available value of this field is populated by the Application Recognition Library, and is not editable. The date that marks the end of the lifespan for this software application. After this date, the publisher would no longer be selling, sustaining, and supporting this application. Evidence capability |
Most application evidence is used to identify whether an application is installed on a device. Some evidence may identify whether the application was accessed by a user. This column identifies the kinds of evidence so far linked to the application, with the following values:

Flexera ID |
A generated code that uniquely identifies all application records, and may be used for integration between products from Flexera. All application records (including those created locally) include a Flexera ID starting with the following text: ARL = arl:// Local = app:// This data is read-only. This is true for both applications sourced locally and those from the Application Recognition Library. |

Installed |
The count of installations of this application, calculated from evidence matched in the last imported inventory. This includes the count of installations in containers. Tip:This is the count of installations in Active inventory devices. In other words, this count excludes any installations on inventory devices for which the Status has been set to Ignored (either manually in the General tab of the inventory device properties, or automatically because the inventory device is linked to an asset that is either Disposed or Retired).
Not editable. The installed count is recalculated after each inventory import. Access right restrictions—The Installed column counts only the installations on inventory devices that you have the right to view. |

Is locked |
Represents the ability to edit the application, based on its source. Displays Yes if the Source of this application is Flexera or Flexera (Extended), and otherwise displays No. Not editable. |

This column indicates whether an installed application is linked to at least one license (either Yes or No is displayed). Editable in the Licenses tab of the application's properties. |

The basic name of the application, excluding the publisher and references to versions or editions. This field displays the value Multiple products for multi-product licenses that have multiple primary products. See Multi-Product License. Status |
Indicates your assessment and processing of an application. It can have any of the following values:
Tip:Although you may choose not to manage an ignored application, it may still be licensable. For this reason, an ignored application is not exempted from license consumption calculations. To remove an application from license consumption calculations, either:
Tip:If you do not have the time to process the new records, you can assign the Deferred status to an application, and review it later. This makes it easier to identify any new Unmanaged applications that appear, so that you can manage by exception. |

Suite |
Displays Yes if this application is a suite (that is, contains child applications), and otherwise No. Remember that a non-suite (has no children) may itself be a member of a suite. For example, Adobe Creative Suite® is a suite, Adobe Photoshop is not, and Photoshop can be a member of Creative Suite. Editable in the Suite and member section of the Evidence tab in the application properties. |

Usage |
The count of devices on which inventory shows that usage tracking is turned on, and the application has been used. Tip:This is the number of devices showing usage in the Devices tab of the application properties, and is filtered by the thresholds set in the Usage tab of the same application properties. Devices where applications are opened less often, or for shorter times, than specified there are not counted here; but for usage tracked in Flexera inventory, may be checked in the Raw Software Usage page (where no thresholds apply). This data is read-only. |

Version |
