Modifying Existing Contextual Data
Note:
IT Visibility with Technology Intelligence Platform is required to use Contextual Data Mashup in Flexera One. For more information about what version of export you are using, see Versions of the IT Visibility Export Feature.
You can update an existing dataset that has been previously added through Contextual Data UI or using CDS APIs. Whenever new/updated contextual data is available to contextualize your device and software inventory information, you can use the update functionality to add your new data by uploading an updated CSV file.

To refresh the data in an existing dataset, update the CSV file on your local machine to include the current software or devices as needed. Then follow the steps below to update the data. |
The reference field requirements and the CSV limitations remain the same while updating a dataset as well. For guidance related to these constraints, see Contextual Data Mashup Overview.
