Using Jira Service Management Connections

You can view and manage the export of asset data from Flexera One to Jira Service Management using the Jira Service Management Connections (IT Visibility > Jira Service Management Connections) page.

Note:This enhancement is available with IT Visibility. If you would like this feature enabled, contact Flexera Support. For more information, see Contacting Flexera Support

Jira Service Management Connections feature provides enhanced control over your IT landscape and assets. You can, for example, link your devices to support tickets to be able to see what software is installed on them.

The available operations include creating new connections, configuring separate schedules for connections and deleting connections.

To use this feature, you need to:

1. Create a new connection by authorizing Flexera’s Jira Service Management Connections in your Jira Instance.
2. Configure a schedule to sync Flexera One to your Jira Instance. On the first scheduled date, Jira Service Management Connections will create the object schema, object types and attributes.
3. Add Reference Types and link the attributes between the objects. Then, every subsequent scheduled sync will populate the objects in the Jira Instance and keep it in sync with Flexera One.
