Activity for Adobe Creative Cloud

Adobe Creative Cloud optimization requires collection of user activity in applications installed on devices.

Adobe offers some SaaS applications and services for Creative Cloud, but the majority of applications require installation on a device, such as a computer. The Adobe Creative Cloud connector collects information on your subscriptions and users, and the Agent-based browser extensions can gather user activity for web-based SaaS applications from Adobe Creative Cloud. However, the user activity in locally installed applications must be gathered from the users' devices.

User activity is a prerequisite for usage metrics, subscription optimization, and insights. If you have Adobe Creative Cloud applications installed in your IT estate, you must connect to a discovery source that collects user activity in these applications.

Required discovery sources for Adobe Creative Cloud

To ensure accurate usage metrics, subscription optimization, and insights, connect to a discovery source that provides Device application usage for Adobe Creative Cloud applications. You can use ITAM forwarder with the integrations of Inventory Agents and Inventory Beacons. The data is then surfaced in SaaS through the Device application usage pipeline.
