Welcome Dialog Box

When the application is run for the first time, it displays the following Welcome dialog box.

Welcome to FSM Data Ingestion Utility 

Let’s get started. FSM Data Ingestion Utility automates the transfer of SaaS application data to Flexera on a regular basis. Click the Help  link for this application’s instructions. Click Next  to generate a refresh token. 

Generating a Refresh Token

After clicking Next from the Welcome Dialog Box, the Enter Refresh Token dialog box opens.

Important:To complete the Enter Refresh Token dialog box, you need the refresh token provided by Flexera. If you need help accessing a refresh token, refer to Generating a Refresh Token.

Complete the following steps to generate a refresh token based on your organization’s geographic region. If you encounter issues when attempting to generate a refresh token, refer to the Common Refresh Token Error Messages.

To generate a refresh token:

1. Copy and paste the refresh token provided by Flexera in the Refresh Token field.
2. From the Region dropdown menu, select the appropriate geographic region for your organization.
APAC is for the Asia Pacific region.
EU is for the European region.
NAM is for the North American region.
3. Click Submit.

Common Refresh Token Error Messages

The following table describes scenarios for common refresh token error messages.

Scenario

Error Message

Invalid Token

You have entered an invalid token or region. Please enter a valid refresh token. 

Maximum Number of Attempts Reached to Enter a Refresh Token

You have reached the maximum number of attempts to enter a refresh token. To get a valid refresh token, refer to Generating a Refresh Token.

Expired Refresh Token

Your refresh token has expired. To update your token, go to the Settings menu and refer to Generating a Refresh Token.
