Configuring Investment Planner

The System Configuration: Planner page enables you to configure functionality that is relevant to the use of Investment Planner (functionality that is available beneath the Planner tab).

To specify Investment Planner configuration settings:

1. From the Admin tab, under System Configuration, click Planner.
2. For the Default product utilization... setting, select which utilization calculation you want to use to determine how to distribute product licenses for a contract pool.

Time used

Sum of durations of all product license used events (checkouts) for a product.

Used count

Sum of product license used events (checkouts) for a product.

Peak usage

Maximum of all usage peaks for a product.

3. Click Save.
