Alerts Inbox
You can view your existing alerts on the Alerts Inbox page and in the Alerts table on the Dashboard page.
The Alerts Inbox page—available from the Alerts tab—displays the alerts for the user who is currently signed in to FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications. The alerts that appear in this list are dependent upon the signed-in user’s alert subscriptions.
The Alerts Inbox page provides the following information about each alert:
| • | Category—Relative seriousness of the alert, as set by FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications (displayed in the column beneath the alert bell icon); whether the alert provides information, a warning, or an error message. |
| • | Date—Date and time that the alert message was sent. |
| • | Message—Text of the alert message. |
| • | Action—Possible actions to perform on the alert message; for example, dismiss. |
Some alerts are dismissed automatically when the alert condition is resolved. To manually remove an alert message from the Alerts Inbox page, click its Dismiss button.
Users assigned roles with the View and Subscribe Alerts permission—and who are subscribed to alerts—are able to view them in their Alerts Inbox.
