FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications Alerts
FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications provides alerts that can be used to notify users about various conditions or events. All available alerts are listed on both the Subscription and the Configure Alerts pages.

Generated when a FlexNet Agent is down or not responding. This alert is dismissed automatically when the agent restarts. If dismissed manually, the alert is redisplayed if the agent is still down the next time the alert condition is evaluated. |

Generated when a license server is down or not responding. This alert is dismissed automatically when the license server restarts. If dismissed manually, the alert is redisplayed if the license server is still down the next time the alert condition is evaluated. |

Generated when a vendor daemon is down or not responding on an otherwise working license server. This alert is dismissed automatically when the vendor daemon restarts. If dismissed manually, the alert is redisplayed if the vendor daemon is still down the next time the alert condition is checked. |

Generated when a vendor daemon is registered for which you do not have a valid FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications license. |

Error Importing a Report Log |
Generated when there is an error importing a report log from a license server (manual or scheduled) into FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications. Note:You may be asked to manually import or bulkimport a *.zsl file. This is a zipped file, which you can open in Winzip, for example. It contains one manifest file and one report log (*.rl) file. You only need to re-import the *.rl file. |

Concurrent License Expiring |
Family of alerts—Generated when a license expiration date occurs in the next 30, 45, 60, 90, or 120 days. Each of the Concurrent License Expiring alerts can be configured to monitor a specified set of features. This alert is dismissed automatically when the expiring license is removed from the license file. If dismissed manually, the alert is redisplayed if the expiring license is still detected the next time the alert condition is evaluated. Licenses expire no more often than once per day, so the interval should be set to at least 1 day. |

If dismissed manually, the alert is redisplayed if the usage still exceeds the threshold the next time the alert condition is evaluated. The detection of this alert is based on the results of a license server status check (default interval 5 minutes). |

User Deactivated |
Generated when a user has been deactivated because the user has incorrectly attempted to sign in to FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications too many times. The number of times that a user sign-in can fail within a specified time period before being deactivated is configurable on the System Configuration | FlexNet Platform Server page. A FlexNet administrator must reactivate a deactivated user before the user can sign in to FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications again. This alert is dismissed automatically when the user is reactivated. If the alert is dismissed manually (by clicking the Dismiss button), the alert is not redisplayed, even if the user has not been reactivated. |

Appears when processing data aggregation. |

Triggered when one or more denial events occurred within the preceding user-defined time period. For example, you may want to see denial events that occurred within the preceding 30 minutes. To specify the time period for denial alert detection, use the Time Period setting on the System Configuration | Manager page. By default, the time period is set to 30 minutes. By default, the detection and notification interval is 5 minutes. You can change the interval on Configure Alert Definition page. For every detection interval, FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications will raise an alert if there was any denial event within the past user-defined number of minutes. |
