FlexNetManaging License Servers, Vendor Daemons, and FlexNet Agents
Functionality available from the Servers tab enables you to configure, manage, update, and view summary information about the FlexNet license servers, vendor daemons, and FlexNet Agents deployed in your environment. In addition, you can use the Not Recognizable License Servers page to view a list of license servers and vendor daemons that are no longer recognized by FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications.
The following functionality is available from the Servers tab.
| • | License Managers—Configure and manage FlexNet license servers, viewing license server status, and view debug logs for license servers and FlexNet Agents. |
| • | Vendor Daemons—Configure and manage vendor daemons, view vendor daemon status, add and edit options files, and rotate report logs. |
| • | Agents—View the status of deployed FlexNet Agents, add and manage FlexNet Agents, and view FlexNet Agent logs. |
| • | Third-Party License Servers and Third-Party Licensing Templates—Create templates for third-party (non-FlexNet and non-LUM) license servers, add and manage third-party license servers, and view status for third-party license servers. |
If you have enabled the display of IBM LUM license-server data, you can access the LUM Server page from this section.
| • | Not Recognizable—View lists of FlexNet license servers and vendor daemons that are no longer recognized by FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications. |
