Completing Plans (Renewals/Remixes)
After analyzing the results of the plan, you can finalize the plan.
To complete a plan for a renewal or remix:
| 1. | From the Planner tab, under Contracts, click Contracts. |
| 2. | On the Contract Summary page, click the name of the contract for which you want to add a remix. This displays the View Contract page. |
| 3. | Click the Plans (Renewals/Remixes) tab, then click the name of the plan to display the View Plan (Renewal/Remix) page. |
| 4. | Click Complete Plan. |
| 5. | Specify the settings requested in the dialog box. |

Next Plan Date |
Specified as mm/dd/yyyy, the date on which this contract pool can next be remixed. This date must be later than the plan’s effective date. |

Create new contract? |
Select the check box if you want to create a new contract for the plan. If the check box is not selected, the existing contract is remixed. The contract that is created is a copy of the existing contract with the contract name set to the name specified in the “Name of new contract” field, the contract start date set to the effective date of the remix, and the contract end date set to blank. All contract pools being remixed are copied to the new contract. In addition, the contract end date for the contract being remixed is set to the effective date of the remix. |

| 6. | Click Complete Plan. |
Upon completing a plan, the following actions occur:
| • | The expiration date for all product licenses in the contract pools included in the plan and the expiration date for all distributions of those licenses are both set to the Effective Date of the plan. |
| • | If the Create new contract check box is selected: |
| • | A new contract is created as a copy of the contract being remixed with the Contract Name set to New Contract Name, the Contract Start Date set to the Effective Date of the plan, and the Contract End Date set to blank. All contract pools of the remixed contract are copied to the new contract. |
| • | The Contract End Date of the contract being remixed is set to the Effective Date of the plan. |
| • | A new product license is created for each product in the contract pools being remixed that has a Suggested Quantity greater than zero. These licenses are copies of the existing licenses with the Effective Date set to the Effective Date |
| • | The Next Plan Date for each contract pool included in the plan is set to the Next Plan Date |
