Importing Report Logs
You can import an existing report log file to FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications, so FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications can ingest the report log data into the reporting database and use the data to create a report.
To import a report log:
| 1. | From the Reporting tab, under Report Logs, click Report Log Summary. |
| 2. | In the Import Report Log field, enter the name of the report log you want to import, or click the Browse button to navigate to the report log. |
| 3. | Click Import. |
The report log is immediately displayed in the Report Logs list. While FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications is importing the log file, the Status column will display Importing. When the status changes to Complete, the import process is finished and you can use the report log data to run reports.
You may need to refresh the view (by clicking the Refresh toolbar button or pressing F5) to update the report log status.
Important:The maximum file size for import is 250 MB; however, importing large files may take a significant amount of time. Flexera recommends that you use the bulkimport command-line functionality to import report logs that are larger than 150 MB.
