Parse decrypted report logs using the RL Parser

Using the new RL Parser functionality, you can now unscramble FlexLM report logs generated by Flexera's FlexNet Publisher (FNP) license server and save decrypted report logs in a JSON file.

Previously, customers did not have access to decrypted FlexLM report log files and FlexLM report logs could only be decrypted by Flexera by running a command from the command line tool (CLI). Now you can decrypt report logs yourself for your own reporting transformation logic from the FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications UI.

Decrypted FlexLM report logs (JSON file) contain comprehensive details about server activities, including checkouts, check-ins, denials, usage levels, and are organized by vendor and product.

RL files and JSON files are generated and accessible on the vendor daemon license server machine, and FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications administrators can copy these files for their own reporting transformation logic by using a file manager.

For more information on how to add and manage RL Parsers running on different vendor daemon license server machines from the FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications UI, see Working with RL Parsers in the Online Help.
