The Containers tab lists any Docker containers where this application is installed. You can inspect the properties of any device in the list, by selecting the device and clicking Open, or simply clicking the device name.

This page displays the following columns (listed alphabetically). Some columns are displayed by default and others can be displayed through the column chooser. To manage columns and other UI options, see the topics under Managing Columns in a Table.

Field Description
Container ID

Unique identifier of the container. (Where the row displays either an image or a pod for which there is no container, this value remains blank.)

Container name

The name of the accessed device.

Host name

The Host device name of the container. You can click on this link to open the Inventory Device Properties page for this image.

Image ID

Unique identifier of the image. Populated for the image and containers instantiated from it. (Remains blank for any Kubernetes pod not running a container.) You can click on this link to open the Container Image Properties page for this image.

Started date

The date when the container started running.

Stopped date

The date when the container stopped running.

Status
Displays the last reported status for either a Docker container, or a Kubernetes pod. May be any of:
  • Created
  • Dead
  • Exited
  • Failed (available only within a Kubernetes cluster)
  • Paused
  • Pending (available only within a Kubernetes cluster)
  • Removing
  • Restarting
  • Running
  • Succeeded (available only within a Kubernetes cluster)
  • Unknown.
