Setting Email Notification Defaults for All New Projects
Workflow Manager 6.0
You set default email notification options for new projects on the Email Settings Administration page, which you can reach by clicking the Email Settings in the Administration menu on the workflow administrator Home page. Once these defaults are set, any new project created in Workflow Manager will automatically inherit these settings. If you usually configure identical email notifications for all of your projects, you will very rarely need to modify these settings.
Note: While these options are inherited by all new projects, you can customize these settings on a project by project basis using the Project Permission and Notification Settings page. See Setting Email Notification Defaults for New Workflow Requests for details.
To set email defaults for all new projects:

Click Email Settings in the Administration menu on the workflow administrator Home page. The Email Settings Administration page opens, listing all of the roles for the company selected in the Company field, along with any additional accounts configured to receive email notifications. |

Choose the company you want to configure default email settings for from the Company list. |

3.

For each item listed in the Role/Account/Email Address column, specify whether that account, or whether all people assigned to that role, should be, by default, notified when the following events occur: |

Data Submitted/Rejected—A data element is submitted or rejected. |
|
•
|
Issue Submitted—An issue is submitted. |
|
•
|
Issue Responded—An issue is responded to. |
|
•
|
Workflow Status Changed—The status of a workflow request is changed. |
|
•
|
SLA At Risk/Failed—The project is at risk of failing to meet its SLA due date, or has already failed to meet it. |
Tip: To select all items in a column, click the check box in the column header.
Important: Changing the default email settings on the Email Settings Administration page has no effect on existing projects.
