Testing the Configuration

When the token generation and configuration steps in Connecting to External Systems are complete, you can verify the ServiceNow connection to Flexera One in Connection Setup.

Data Flow Direction: The following instructions describe how to test the external connection to Flexera One IT Visibility that allows data to flow from ServiceNow into Flexera One. If you did not complete the connection steps to push your ServiceNow data to Flexera One, then you can skip the steps below. (See Connection Steps and Data Flow Direction to learn more about which connection steps pertain to data flowing from ServiceNow into Flexera One.)

To test the configuration

1.

Log in to your ServiceNow instance.

2.

From the Navigation menu, search and select Flexera One > Connection Setup.

3.

In Connection Setup, open an Active record.

4.

Click Verify Refresh Token under Related Links.

ServiceNow verifies the token and, if successful, reports Token verified successfully.
