Added a feature to send notifications to a designated email address to provide messages about Normalization and Catalog Sync event status changes. These notifications alert recipients when such events start, succeed, or fail. For setup go to Preferences > Email Notifications in the Admin Console. For setting details, please refer to the instructions for Enabling Email Notifications in the Data Platform Administrator Guide.

Support has been added for SAML authentication in Data Platform starting with an Okta-specific implementation.

SAML-specific settings are required in the Configuration Wizard for both the Administrator Console and the User Console. For setup details, please refer to the section, “Optional SAML Authentication Settings and Prerequisites,” in the Data Platform Installation Guide or the Data Platform User Console Installation Guide (depending on what console you are configuring).

Note:A new system requirement has been added for both the User Console and the Administrator Console for .NET Framework version 4.7.2. The System Requirements sections for both the Data Platform Installation Guide and the Data Platform User Console Installation Guide have been updated to reflect this change.
