Unmanaged Devices

The Unmanaged Devices page (Inventory > Network Discovery > Unmanaged Devices) lists the devices discovered out of the defined subnets. By default, this page displays all unmanaged discovered devices, but you can apply filters to restrict the number of records. This page mainly enables you to perform the following actions on the discovered device records:

You can filter the records by the number of days for which the device has not reported any inventory.

Search for an unmanaged discovered device

You can search for a particular unmanaged discovered device by applying filters. For more information about using lists, filters, and other UI options, see the topics under Using Lists in IT Asset Management.

Create a discovered device

See Create a Discovered Device.

View or change the properties of an unmanaged discovered device

You can click a device name to view its properties. See Discovered Device Properties.

View the tasks lsits applicable to an unmanaged discovered device

Select any discovered device and click Applicable rules to view the discovery and inventory rules applicable to that device. For more information, see Discovery and Inventory Rules.

Delete a discovered device

See Deleting a Discovered Device.

Create a saved view

The Save view as feature of IT Asset Management enables you to create customized views of a page by saving the applied user interface settings. For more information, see Creating Saved Views.

Note:Most lists in IT Asset Management only show a selection of the properties in the underlying database. Some columns are displayed by default and others can be displayed using the column chooser control, including any custom properties that you have added. For information on using the column chooser, see Managing Columns in a Table.
