Importing Flexera Analytics Packages
To use Flexera Analytics reporting, you need to configure the database and import the data model and reports that Cognos uses to generate and display reports. The data model and reports are provided in Flexera Analytics packages, which are available for download from the Flexera Software Product and License Center:

Note:To import a Flexera Analytics package, a user be assigned the Web Administrator Cognos role.
Before Importing a Package
To successfully import a package, you must first do the following:
| • | Ensure that the Cognos server is running. |
| • | Use the Test Cognos Connection functionality to determine whether the connection to the Cognos server is working properly. |
| • | Verify that the following settings have been specified on the Reporting page (under the System Configuration tab): Cognos server host, Cognos server port, and web services port. |
| • | Download the package from the Flexera Software Product and License Center (https://flexerasoftware.flexnetoperations.com), to the following directory (create a deployment folder if one does not exist): |
Flexera\fnmea\analytics\deployment\
To import packages:
| 1. | From the Reporting tab, under Flexera Analytics, click Cognos Administration. |
| 2. | Click Import Package to import the package for Flexera Analytics Reporting. |
All of the packages in the Flexera\fnmea\analytics\deployment\ directory will be imported.
