Cognos Administration
The Cognos Administration page is displayed only for users who have been assigned the Web Administrator Cognos role. Using the Cognos Administration page, you can perform tasks related to successfully using Cognos functionality as part of FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications.
From this page, you can:
| • | Test the connection to the Cognos server. |
| • | Import a Flexera Analytics package. |
| • | Update the datasources used by Cognos. |
Assigning FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications Users to Cognos Roles
By default, FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications users do not have assigned Cognos roles. A FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications user with the Assign Cognos Roles permission must manually assign Cognos roles. See Cognos Roles for more information.
