SAP Systems Inventory Details Report
The SAP Systems Inventory Details report provides a great deal of details about SAP systems inventory.
SAP data needed for compliance and optimization is usually complex because it includes various types of information, such as account information, SAP transaction history, engine measurements, and so on. Having accurate and up-to-date information is critical for trusting the consumption and optimization calculations.
This report retrieves information from all SAP systems that are authorized for the operator to help the user better understand the SAP systems inventory status.

Reading the report
The following table lists all the columns that are available in the report. Some columns are not displayed by default; however, you can make them visible by moving them out of the column chooser.
Column name | Description |
---|---|
Active Accounts | The number of active accounts for the system. |
Default License Type |
The default license type that is used if no license type is specified for a user. This data is automatically imported when the system is inserted. For technical reasons, the default license type for non-SAP systems is set to 91. |
Inventory Date | The date when the SAP system inventory was collected as reported by the SAP inventory. |
Latest Raw Engine Measurement | The number and date of the raw engine measurements stored in the database. |
Months with History in the Last Year | The number of the months that have transaction history data in the recent 12 months. This information helps you to assess whether are data import issues. A number less than 12 indicates potential data import issues. However, if your transaction profiles and optimization rules only use the data from the last three months and there are transaction data in the last three months, an issue in older transaction history will not impact the optimization calculations. |
Months with Transaction History in the Last 3 Months | A list of the months that have transaction history data in the recent three months. This information helps you to assess whether the transaction profiles are reliable or not. If you do not see all the three recent months displayed, it indicates that inventory data has not been imported correctly and the transaction profiles used to perform user optimization are not reliable. |
Most Recent Last Login | The data of the most recent login across accounts for the system. This information helps you to identify the last inventory date more accurately. The value of the Inventory Date field might not reflect the actual inventory date of the SAP system as it is the date of the beacon querying the data in the Solution Manager staging database and the data in the database could be aging. Therefore, the date of the most recent login is a good indicator of the actual last inventory date of the SAP system. |
Most Recent Transaction History | The most recent record found in the transaction history. |
SAP Basis Release | The version of the SAP Basis release that is installed. |
System ID | A three-character identifier of the SAP system. |
Transaction History Records | The total number of the transaction history records. This number helps you to assess whether there is too much history data being stored, because transaction history data is stored indefinitely. If this number becomes very large, you might need to run a cleanup script to avoid performance issues. |
