Overview

The SAM Publisher Hub is a dashboard that gives you a single pane of glass that mixes the inventory and business information about application publishers and enables you to address the simple but hard to answer question: Does this publisher matter to me?

The goal of the SAM Publisher Hub is to provide visibility and insights about your application publishers. It does this by consolidating publisher-centric data into one page in the form of a series of charts, which show the current situation and trends for key aspects of application publisher management (such as compliance risk or license overspend, potential optimization, and deployed commercial applications), as well as provide links to the relevant tab of the publisher detail or reports.

The following publisher metric data is reported:

• Compliance
• Optimization
• Installed applications.

To view data pertaining to a different publisher, use the Select a Publisher search field to search and choose the publisher.

Navigating to the SAM Publisher Hub

The SAM Publisher Hub is accessible by navigating to SAM Publisher Hub (Dashboards > SAM Publisher Hub).

Note: The SAM Publisher Hub is accessible to all users. However, some widgets are restricted to authorized users only.
