Working With Custom Reports

Note: If you have already been upgraded to Technology Intelligence Platform, information in this section is applicable to you. With Technology Intelligence Platform, out-of-the-box IT Visibility dashboards are being replaced with new, enhanced IT Visibility Technology Intelligence Platform reports.

You can create your own custom reports with visualizations on the report canvas. These visualizations provide actionable insights. These reports created using the Power BI business intelligence tool offer the best-in-class BI analytics and data visualization capabilities.

Custom reports offer in-depth analysis and data exploration capabilities such as examining historical trends, performing complex calculations, and conducting statistical analysis. You can create different types of reports, each type having a specific data model. For more information, see Creating a Custom Report.

A report might have a single page with one visualization or it might have multiple pages full of visualizations.

Use the following panes to create your custom report:

The Data pane—Use this pane to add the data fields to create a visual.
The Filters pane—Use this pane to view, add, and modify any filters applied to your report.
The Visualizations pane—Use this pane to select a visualization type such as a bar chart, column chart, and so on.
