IT Asset Management and SaaS spend data now available in Cloud Cost Optimization in the North American (NAM) region

Note:This FinOps feature is available with Cloud Cost Optimization.

IT Asset Management and Software as a Service (SaaS) spend data is now available in Cloud Cost Optimization in the NAM region within cloud dashboards (Dashboards > Cloud) and Tabular View (Cloud > Cost Optimization > Tabular View). This spend data is already available in the EU and APAC regions. This feature enables you to analyze the total IT spend for software, hardware, SaaS, and cloud. Using the default dimensions, you can analyze the spend in the cloud dashboards and Tabular View. You can also use the tag dimensions and rule-based dimensions to create custom dimensions to analyze the spend unique to your cost center and line of business. To ensure that you now have more visibility into your IT Asset Management and SaaS spend data, the following updates have been made:

Flexera IT Asset Management fields—The CostCenter and CorporateUnit fields are available as tags for cost allocation.

Flexera SaaS Management spend—This spend is available in Cloud Cost Optimization.

•

Technology Spend dashboard—The Unified Spend Analytics dashboard is renamed to Technology Spend.
